STEAM TRAINS
There are several railways nearby where it is possible to ride on a train pulled by a steam locomotive.

GOLF
Whitley, Kingsdown and Cumberwell Golf Courses are both just a few minutes drive away. There are also many other courses nearby.

WALKING
From our doorstep, a network of public footpaths across the fields provide extensive possibilities for walkers to explore the area. A little further afield, there are many beautiful walks through the valleys surrounding Bath, on Roundway Hill near Devizes, and around the pretty village of Castle Combe.

CYCLING
The West Wilts Cycle Way passes the end of our driveway. Also, bikes can be hired in Bradford on Avon, from where you can cycle along the canal towpath to Bath.

HORSE RIDING
There are several riding stables nearby, and the well-known trekking centre at Wellow is just south of Bath.

BALLOON FLIGHTS
A number of different operators offer Champagne balloon flights over Bath. They usual take-off from Victoria Park, in the city centre, giving a unique viewpoint from which to admire this beautiful city.

BOATING
Boats of all sizes may be hired from Bradford on Avon, Limpley Stoke and Bath.
