CHEDDAR GORGE & WOOKEY HOLE
Man has lived in the caves of Cheddar for 40,000
years. It has been a major tourist attraction for over 200 years and is
designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest, in an Area of
Outstanding Natural Beauty. Wookey Hole is another famous cave in the
Somerset Mendips, with associated attractions.
